The Eddy Merckx 2024 range in the SPOTLIGHT! !
On November 22, 2024, the Belgian Cycling Factory (BCF) invited L’Acteur Cycliste to the Eddy Merckx X-Over event. A packed and exciting program awaited us starting from January 16, 2024. A new range featuring over 4 models was showcased, featuring notably the Eddy Merckx 525

The entire BCF was mobilized for this event, which included:
- Presentation of the new Eddy Merckx 2024 range at the BFC headquarters in Beringen, Belgium.
- Discussions with the brand’s historic partners, including: Dt Swiss, KMC, Selle Italie/San Marco, Crono, Classified, Grip Grab, Deda Elementi, Vittoria, and Limar.
- Test rides during a « social ride » outing.
- Presentation of the new velodrome in Zolder.
- Invitation to the VeloFollies 2024 in Kortrijk (Courtrai).

« The show room Upon arrival at the headquarters of the Belgian Cycling Factory, we were greeted by an immense showroom. Here, we discovered the bikes from the Eddy Merckx 2024 range AND the brand’s partners that had not been communicated to us previously. We were introduced to the 4 new models: the 525, Mendrisio, Strasbourg, and Pévèle, along with no less than 9 partners: DT Swiss, Crono, Classified, KMC, Selle Italia/San Marco (SSR), Vittoria, Deda Elementi, Limar, and Grip Grab. In terms of journalists, there were 10 of us from 7 different nationalities (European). 2 Belgians, 1 Italian, 1 Spanish, 1 German, 1 Swedish, 2 from the UK, and we were the only French representatives invited. Naturally, English was the language used ».
