A HUGE EXPO !

Belgium loves cycling. Reviewing the Velofollies Trade Show needs time ! No less than 6 halls were dedicated to the event. There was no time to waste to see as many stands as possible, from institutional ones to lesser-known brands and those rarely seen at French expos.

THE OBSERVATION ?

A wide array of mechanical bikes was on display (for those who thought they were in decline), estimated at over 60%. However, brands are fully committed to aesthetics! Since frames are becoming increasingly similar (if not identical), differentiation is achieved through graphics and other decorations, hence the explosion of configurators.

Excerpt from E-Book No. 64:

« ATOM 6. A well-stocked booth! Unknown to L’Acteur, the Belgian brand takes its name from Mendeleev’s table with atomic number 6, which corresponds to that of carbon. The booth made a visually imposing presence, and we lingered there, drawn by our interest as the salespeople abundantly provided the following motto: ‘all information by scanning the QR code.’ Let’s take a brief overview …/… If the rear triangle has a real taste of the Cervélo S5, the Atom 6 Campione is much less sloping. And, obviously, the front has nothing to do with it. The beautiful bikes were displayed high, and this ruby red with a mirror effect catches the eye. For your information, the Campione is a novelty for 2024. »
